How to drink your water and become healthier

Posted in Health by announcer

Lemon is an acid

Despite that lemon juice is an acid and goes into your body as an acid, it helps to make your body alkaline.  How do lemons do this?  Once you squeeze the acid liquid out of a lemon, and drink it with water, it is digested and gets into your blood stream.  It passes through the veins and into the liquid near your cells.  Lemon nutrient then enter your cells.  Your cell uses up the lemon acid nutrients and creates a residue.  This residue is a basic substance that is excreted from your cells and populates your lymph liquid as a basic solution or basic element.  It is this basic element that combines with acids to neutralize them and in doing so makes your body more alkaline. Limit Sugars And Starchy Foods To Prevent Gum Disease

Posted in General Resources, Health and Medicine, Health by announcer

A healthy diet can contribute much to preventing the occurrence and progression of gum disease symptoms. The bacteria causing gum disease is known to feed on foods that are high in protein, rich in sugar and starchy foods. One must control and limit in between meals the intake of such highly refined sweets such as soft drinks, candies, cakes, cookies, pies, syrups, jam, jellies and pastries since they are foods that these bad bacteria feed upon. Avoiding hard, sticky sweets can be counted as a good gum disease prevention.

It is when you eat sugar and other refined carbohydrates that you promote tooth decay. It you have a sweet tooth and can’t stop yourself from your sugar cravings, choose healthier and natural alternatives such as fresh fruits that can provide sweet flavors with less risk of contributing to the decay if teeth are brushed regularly after eating.

The best prevention against gum disease can come from practicing superior oral hygiene. Brush you teeth after every meal and floss to ensure that the spaces in-between teeth are clean and bacteria free. Use natural dental products that can keep the bacteria population in the mouth under control, and avoid circumstances that can leave you prone to gum disease progression and development.

Building A Quiet Study Room

Posted in General Resources, Home and Garden, Home by announcer

Provide a comfortable chair and a good desk for the study room, and have a bookcase with reference materials, if you have any. Though the Internet is great for research, the child should not be doing anything else online. This means that you may have to monitor the time they spend in the study room if you can. Don’t allow them to have a phone in the area, or make sure they know not to answer it while studying. Make the study area or room a game and cell phone free zone. There is plenty of time for that after they are done with their homework.
Lastly, make sure this space is used only for study, and that everyone in the home respects that the study room area as a quiet area.

Posted in Home, Entertainment by

As the summer sets in for many people this time of year, many home owners are looking to add a touch of something fun to their backyard, be it a garden, a item of landscaping adornment to make the yard look better, or even a deck. But, many people are also considering adding pools to their property, even if they’re relatively inexpensive. Rather than buy something that will only last for a season or will look tacky in their yard, many homeowners are also looking into custom backyard pools for their properties.

There are numerous swimming pool options that can be integrated into any type of landscaping. Custom pools are likely to be in ground; in this case the design will be made to seamlessly fit into your landscaping. In ground pools are increasingly popular because they have less maintenance than an above ground pool, they make it easier to take care of the landscaping in the yard, and they are less likely to be destroyed by severe weather conditions.

There are a large number of swimming pool designs available for in ground pools. Many of these designs can be customized by the homeowner to fit his or her specific needs and wants. For example, the homeowner can choose the color of the interior tiles, or even choose a lighting fixture to enhance their landscaping and yard design. In addition, the depth can be varied to provide for family wading, diving and other water activities.

Custom backyard pools can be above ground for the consumer whose yard is not accommodating to the in ground option. These custom pools are shaped more uniquely than the round shape as the homeowner desires, and offer a host of features (like frames placed around and extra construction features integrated into the pool itself) to ensure stability and aesthetic integration to your property.

Adding a custom pool to your backyard doesn’t mean that you have to give up your landscaping. Both in-ground and above-ground custom pools can easily be positioned in a backyard where they will be attractive and natural. Putting up a pool also doesn’t have to affect your grass or your flowers. In fact, quite the opposite. A pool can enhance the mood of a backyard and complement the landscaping better than any other backyard feature.

For many consumers, the dream of being able to wade in the water of their own custom backyard pool is more than ever a real possibility. Calling the local contractor or pool supply store can get the process of getting the pool of your dreams installed. Soon, you too can be soaking under the sun or stars in a private pool in your own backyard.

Homeowners can spruce up their backyard this summer by adding custom backyard pools. Many swimming pool options are available to accommodate anyone’s yard landscaping; and today, the pools are much more likely to be in ground. There are a large number of swimming pool designs available for in ground pools. If your yard is unable to accommodate an in ground pool, there are customized above ground pools available. Above ground pools no longer come in just a round shape. You can choose a more unique shape. Omega 3 Oils And Their Benefits

Posted in Health, Travel by

The fatty acids of Omega-3, which are also called n-3 fatty acids, are chemical substances that naturally exist in some types of fats and oils. Since oils containing Omega-3 are among the most important sources of fatty acids, they are highly required for a normal growth. Furthermore, they involve a large number of many other benefits.

Omega 3 oils have many beneficial effects, including reducing the risk of thrombotic stroke and heart disease, reducing cholesterol, improving immune system activity, and stimulating blood circulation while reducing blood pressure. They have also been linked with positive effects in schizophrenia treatment, as well as being considered a “brain food” for many years, although without significant scientific evidence.

Although eggs and walnuts are also source of omega 3 oils but fish is renowned one. Mackerel, sardines, anchovies, salmon, and herring, besides tuna to a slighter quantity have major supply of fish oil, which contains the seven times strong omega 3 oil than the other kinds of fish

Since so many people are consuming omega 3 oils by eating fish, which has been well documented to be beneficial, the Food and Drug Administration has gotten involved. They are concerned about heavy metal poisoning from fish used to produce these oils. Cold-water fish can accumulate arsenic, lead, nickel, mercury and cadmium, which are dangerous heavy metals. It is very important that you know the source of your omega 3 oils.

A reduction in blood pressure and a consequent improvement in circulation of the blood is one of the many effects of Omega 3. This may explain the migraine relief effects of Omega 3 fish oil, since the pain experienced by headache sufferers is caused by dilation of blood vessels, which is triggered by reduced blood flow in the brain. Ingesting Omega 3 decreases the instances of this reduction in blood flow, thus providing effective migraine relief.

The heart benefits by taking omega-3 oils, which increases the circulation in your body. If you take omega-3 oils on a regular basis, you can lower the risk of heart attack by reducing blood triglyceride levels in your body. A compound know as fibrin is broken down by omega-3 oils. This is important because this reduces the risk of clotting that may lead to a stroke or infarction.

Although flaxseed oil, eggs and walnuts are also source of omega 3 oils, fish is the most potent one. Salmon, sardines, tuna and anchovies have the highest omega 3 concentration - up to seven times more than other kinds of fish. A reduction in blood pressure and a consequent improvement in circulation of the blood is one of the many effects of this oil. This may explain the migraine relief effects of this oil, since the pain experienced by headache sufferers is caused by dilation of blood vessels, which is triggered by reduced blood flow in the brain.
