Save Gas By Running Your Car On Water

The technology for using water for gas in cars is very scientific, but not difficult to understand. It involves putting together home-made devices that use a little electricity out of your car’s battery to separate water into a gas called HHO (2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). HHO, also known as “Hydrogen*Oxygen™” or Hydroxy, burns beautifully and by so doing provides a lot of energy. The most remarkable part is that pound for pound HHO gas is much more efficient than gasoline. In fact 3 times more efficient than gasoline. Greater efficiency equals better gas mileage.

Compare Binoculars

Posted in General Resources, Math and Sciences, Shopping by announcer

It is also a good idea to wipe down your binoculars with a damp cloth to remove any oils from your skin as well as any dirt or debris that may have accumulated on the binoculars themselves before placing them away in storage. This will keep your binoculars looking good as new every time you take them out for that next amazing site to see. You can tell a binocular style microscope by the dual eyepiece. Simply put, you use both eyes to view the sample image.

Ultrasonic Flow Meters for Better Flow Measurement

Flow Meters help in a great deal if you have to measure liquids, gases etc in solid pipes. Previously it was said that it is almost impossible to measure the flow of gases through the metal pipes. But companies researched in this area and developed technologies so that the gas flow measurement through the metal pipes become possible. Most of the flow meters uses ultrasonic flow measurement techniques.

You can choose from the several types of flow meters that various reputed companies are offering today. The various kinds of flow meters available today in the market are: Gas flow meters, vortex flow meters, liquid flowmeters, portable kind, steam flowmeters, water & wastewater flowmeters and many more. These flowmeters provide accurate flow measurement information & available at very low cost in the market.

Reflecting Telescopes

Posted in General Resources, Math and Sciences by announcer

A reflecting telescope uses a mirror as its objective. This mirror is located towards the distal end of the telescope. In addition, the mirror has a concave shape. The curvature of the mirror allows for the midpoint of the mirror to be the focal point for all of the light that strikes each part of the surface of the bowl-like mirror. This reflection is then captured by the lens to view the item of interest.

Benefits of Cogeneration

When a facility cogenerates a given quantity or type of usable energy, the producer of that energy may become entitled to special benefits under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA) of 1978. These benefits include the right to produce energy from cogeneration whether this energy is needed or not (a right not guaranteed in other circumstances), and possibly the right to sell cogenerated energy at favorable avoided-cost prices to utilities. To further stimulate cogeneration, utilities may even be forced to purchase that energy at this favorable price under the terms of PURPA.

Alternative Energy Sources

Wind turbine to produce power. Similar to that of a windmill, wind turbines have blades that are moved by the wind. With the help of shaft that is attached to the blades, the wind turbines rotate the generator to produce energy. Meanwhile, what determines power that is supplied to the generator and is then stored to the batteries are the speed of the wind. If there is less wind, less power is produced. Strong wind on the other hand produces more electricity. Most common sites of this alternative energy source are farmland, areas where winds blow strong most of the time, or places where it is much expensive to build power lines than wind turbines.

How are diamonds mined?

Posted in General Resources, Math and Sciences by announcer

We seldom think about how the diamonds we wear came to us. Natural diamonds, as opposed to synthetic diamonds or fake diamonds, are mined from the earth. There are currently two methods of mining diamonds: Pipe Mining and Alluvial Mining. Read full article on: How are diamonds mined - More resources: Choose a diamond

Writing In APA Styles

APA, The American Psychological Association has established a style that it uses in all of the books and journals that it publishes. Many others working in the social and behavioral sciences have adopted this style as their standard as well. When editors or teachers ask you to write in “APA style,” they do not mean writing style. They are referring to the editorial style that many of the social and behavioral sciences have adopted to present written material in the field. Continue Reading On APA Writing Style.
