When Do You Need a Drug Lawyer?

If you are stopped by the police while driving and asked if it is okay if the police search your car, don’t give permission if you have illegal drugs in the car. If the police did not have probable cause to stop you and search your car anyway, it is very possible that a drug lawyer can have the drugs excluded as evidence in any prosecution against you. The police will tell you that it will be better for you if you let them search, but they are allowed to tell you anything they want. If you are stopped by the police and arrested for illegal drugs, call a drug lawyer at 1888DRUGCRIMES.com

Divorce Laws in USA

Divorce, or dissolution, as it is increasingly becoming known, a legislatively created, judicially administered process that legally terminates a marriage no longer considered viable by one or both of the spouses and that permits both to remarry. Divorce laws vary considerably around the world. Divorce has become ingrained in our culture; in the USA, divorce is primarily governed by specific state divorce laws. Divorce is formally called “dissolution of marriage” in Washington.State to State variations exist in Grounds for Divorce and Residency Requirements, Property Division, Alimony/Spousal Support, Custody, Child Support and Visitation. Divorce in New Hampshire often includes a name change. When it’s working, the Cornell webpage www.law.cornell.edu/topics/Table_Divorce.htm links to the divorce laws of the different States and to tables summarizing some of their salient points. Those interested in the divorce law of a particular jurisdiction should review its law directly rather than rely on the tables that may not be fully accurate or complete.

For example durational requirements go from a minimum of zero to 1 year, but be aware that California requires domicile as distinguished from residency for jurisdictional purposes. In States where living separate and apart is a key factor, the requirement can vary from 60 days to as much as 3 years. The acceptable grounds for divorce may or may not include incompatibility depending on the State.

Protecting Your Personal Information

The most common way for criminals to get credit card information is through phishing, which involves a fake email that appears to be sent from your credit card company. Normally, this fake email states that there was an error with your account, or that it was accessed by unauthorized personnel and needs your attention.

Spotting fake emails isn’t hard to do - as long as you know what to look for. The most obvious hint for most, is the fact that they don’t even have a credit card from the company that has sent the email. For others, the link is what gives the fake email away. Anytime you get an email from a credit card that you believe to be fake, you should always hover your mouse over the link, then “right click” the link with the mouse and select “view source”.
