Most people who emigrate have a timetable to keep to. If you are taking up a new job or a new role for your existing employer, you will have a start date. In ideal circumstances, you would arrive in your new home country a few days in advance to give you a chance to settle in before you start work. If you are bringing your family with you, you may also need to travel in advance of them so that you can start work on time. Rather than try to sell your real home when you are hundreds or even thousands of miles away from the UK, why not sell your property fast to a dedicated buyer? Why try to liaise with estate agents, solicitors and buyers, possibly from a different time zone, when you could have your sale all wrapped up before you go?
