Back when I was a kid, we had almost no childrens furniture. My parents were pretty basic with their sense of decoration. They never really bought new furnishings. They had a few solid, plain chairs, and that was it for years and years. children’s furniture was simply out of the question. They were much too practical. After all, kids outgrow kids furniture in a few years, so what is the point?
From my point of view, however, it was awful not having any childrens furniture. I had a few items of childrens bedroom furniture, but they amounted to almost nothing. Basically, almost anything in the house was too big for me.
