One way to lose belly fat is to avoid trans fats, those bad fats found in the foods in vending machines. Sounds too simple, but it is true. A study at Wake Forest University concluded that trans fat, already proven to cause heart disease, may also increase dangerous belly fat. So that means that our waistline may be just as dependent on the foods that we avoid, as it is to the proper exercise program that we use to keep our bodies in shape.
