Worker Comp Law is a system of laws that protect an employer from liability from employees when they sustain workers comp injuries while at work or sustain work related diseases. Pain and suffering are not included in calculating an employees right to limited workers comp. The workers compensation tables vary from employee to employee, and, state by state. They usually include a need for review by a workers compensation board and are calculated by an analysis of the injury, whether it be specific or general, or, temporary or permanent. But this is an area where the simplicity of its function and purpose can be its complexity.
