Myspace messaging can be a very powerful element to vibrational marketing. When someone agrees to be your friend they also agree to allow you to send them messages. How I usually use the messaging function is to send a message along with a friend request. I let the person know who I am, what my page is all about and why I am looking to them to be my friend. (This is a good reason to have single topic pages). I also usually send a poem, quote or my ‘Be the Difference’ video within the message. Something that is uplifting and will make me stand out to them a little more than just a nondescript friend request.
