Several Acne products are available today. Some acne products available are, anti-bacterial acne products, skin exfoliating acne products, antibiotic acne products, retinoidal oral/topical acne products, hormonal acne products. Some alternative medicine acne products are also available, but most have not been proven to be effective. Exfoliating involves removing a microscopic layer of skin, this usually acomplished by using an exfoliating cleanser. These cleansers are specially formulated to remove a slight amount of skin. Exfoliating can also be done by a doctor if the acne is severe.
